God's love is the greatest love in earth or heaven. Out of it flows that which is worthwhile in life. There is no heart so empty as the heart that is without God's love. There is no life so joyful as the love-filled life. His love puts a song in the heart, a sparkle in the eye, a smile on the lips, and makes the whole being glad. There may be sorrow and care and suffering in the life; but God's love lightens all these. Yes, he who has God's love has a continual feast.
The lord is our greatest love
He is our deepest inward desire
He is the hope that brings us life
He sets our soul on fire.
He is the smile upon our lips
The brightest day that once was dark
He is the swiftness of our walk
And master of our brand new heart.
He is the promise of our tomorrows
The sweetness of today
He is the One we'll always love
Cherish, honor and obey.
